It starts simply.
You move.
You pick a direction.
You go toward what feels right.
Then things begin to shift.
Some of what you trusted stops holding.
Some of what you were chasing doesn’t feel the same.
You change.
You can’t move in the same way forever.
Some reasons wear out.
Some aims no longer reach you.
Some paths stop feeling like yours.
So you let go of what no longer holds.
You keep going with what still does.
Not perfectly.
But honestly.
You don’t always get where you thought you would.
But you don’t stay the same either.
Wherever you arrive,
you arrive with more of what is real
and less of what is not.
There is always more ahead.
Still, this matters.
What is worth living for is not something
we simply begin with knowing.
We grow into it.
